The buttons were no longer reacting correctly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Access was a little tight behind the panel and the replacement solved it.

Had to double check model compatibility first while replacing the old component cause the refrigerator would reboot intermittently. Unit completed a full cycle without issues.
