Ended up ordering this because the original component had worn out over time. Installation wasnt too difficult overall. Cooling performance seems stable again.

Repair Outcome

The appliance suddenly stopped working properly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Took around thirty minutes from start to finish and the replacement solved it.
