The buttons were no longer reacting correctly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Access was a little tight behind the panel and the replacement solved it.

After dealing with a situation where the refrigerator would reboot intermittently, we installed this replacement part. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.
