Took around thirty minutes from start to finish while replacing the old component because the control panel stopped responding randomly. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

Wasnt completely sure this would match at first since the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Thankfully connector alignment matched better than expected and everything is working again.
