Installed this when the older unit needed replacement part. Needed basic hand tools only. Appliance has been running normally since then. Repair turned out easier than expected honestly.

Mounting holes lined up correctly during install while replacing the old component because the original component had worn out over time. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.
