Took around thirty minutes from start to finish while replacing the old component because the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Cooling performance seems stable again.

Repair Outcome

Wasnt completely sure this would match at first since the control panel stopped responding randomly. Thankfully mounting holes lined up correctly during install and everything is working again.
