Access was a little tight behind the panel while replacing the old component because the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

Installed this when the refrigerator would reboot intermittently. Took around thirty minutes from start to finish. Cooling performance seems stable again. Worth verifying model number before ordering though.
