The appliance suddenly stopped working properly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Mounting holes lined up correctly during install and the replacement solved it.

Had to double check model compatibility first while replacing the old component because the older unit needed replacement part. Everything powered back on correctly afterward.
