The buttons were no longer reacting correctly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Access was a little tight behind the panel and the replacement solved it.

Replacement Observation

Fitment on our appliance was accurate while replacing the old component because the refrigerator would reboot intermittently. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.
