Mounting holes lined up correctly during install while replacing the old component because the older unit needed replacement part. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

Repair Outcome
Ended up ordering this because the original component had worn out over time. Needed basic hand tools only. Everything powered back on correctly afterward. Part quality feels reasonable compared to original one.
