Installation wasnt too difficult overall while replacing the old component because the ice maker stopped filling correctly. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

The small leak developed near inlet section on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Access was a little tight behind the panel and the replacement solved it.
