Ended up ordering this cause the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Needed basic hand tools only. Noise issue disappeared after replacement. Repair turned out easier than expected honestly.

Mounting holes lined up correctly during install while replacing the old component because the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Appliance has been running normally since then.
