Connector alignment matched better than expected while replacing the old component because the small leak developed near inlet section. Repair solved the original problem.

Ended up ordering this because the water flow became inconsistent. Mounting holes lined up correctly during install. Noise issue disappeared after replacement. Would probably order again if needed.
