Connector alignment matched better than expected while replacing the old component because the older unit needed replacement part. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

Ended up ordering this because the older unit needed replacement part. Access was a little tight behind the panel. Repair solved the original problem. Worth verifying model number before ordering though.
