Installation wasnt too difficult overall while replacing the old component because the older unit needed replacement part. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

Wasnt completely sure this would match at first since the appliance suddenly stopped working properly. Thankfully mounting holes lined up correctly during install and everything is working again.
