The control panel stopped responding randomly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Mounting holes lined up correctly during install and the replacement solved it.

Repair Outcome
Ended up ordering this because the refrigerator would reboot intermittently. Installation wasnt too difficult overall. Noise issue disappeared after replacement.

Replacement Observation
Mounting holes lined up correctly during install while replacing the old component cause the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Cooling performance seems stable again.
