The control panel stopped responding randomly on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Mounting holes lined up correctly during install and the replacement solved it.

Needed basic hand tools only while replacing the old component because the refrigerator would reboot intermittently. No leaks or issues noticed so far.
