Installation wasnt too difficult overall while replacing the old component because the refrigerator would reboot intermittently. Everything powered back on correctly afterward.

Repair Outcome

Used this replacement after the buttons were no longer reacting correctly. Access was a little tight behind the panel. Appliance has been running normally since then. Worth verifying model number before ordering though.
