Installation wasnt too difficult overall while replacing the old component because the appliance suddenly stopped working properly. Cooling performance seems stable again.

Ended up ordering this because the original component had worn out over time. Connector alignment matched better than expected. Everything powered back on correctly afterward. Worth verifying model number before ordering though.
