The original component had worn out over time on our appliance ended up being caused by a failing part. Needed basic hand tools only and the replacement solved it.

Wasnt completely sure this would match at first since the appliance suddenly stopped working properly. Thankfully connector alignment matched better than expected and everything is working again.
